IB Memorial Institute is an English medium school, located at South Garia More, Kaliakpore, behind Shibmandir. Basically a nursery and primary school, with a sprawling garden to play, the school dreams to provide education till secondary, one day, to prepare the responsible citizens of the future.The school has successfully established the idea, that, if a child, who is growing far away from the city, be imparted right kind of quality education at right time, the he can also bloom like his counterpart in the city. After three years of consistent persuasion, we have opened the pre-toddler section 2+ and it has roused the interest in local community.

ACT conducted a workshop on "Ways of dealing with young learners through joyful learning & classroom management" at I B Memorial School on 27th August, 2017. It started with a warmer session which was fun and engaging from the beginning. It then went ahead with various activities and interactive sessions involving the teachers. It helped the teachers to learn a lot many things about classroom management, creative thinking etc which were new to them. Besides, exchange of their thoughts and sharing of their experiences went on, mostly with the objective of knowledge sharing and as a result bringing overall change.

Moupiya Banerjee : The training was useful and appropriate as per our requirement. The story making with the aids and music learning was very useful. It is one of the memorable incident in my life. I got the opportunity to learn more about classroom management and techniques to teach children through joyful method.

Tamalika Mukherjee : The learning was joyful and appropriate. I like the way they explained things to us through engaging us in different activities. I loved the whole training session. It was fun learning.

Jaya Chatterjee : The workshop was appropriate and useful. I liked most about the session are joyful learning, activities and audio-visual teaching aids for learning. The best part was the workshop was full of activities and it helped us to learn better.

Dolon Some : It was glad to be a part of the workshop. Thank you Asian College of Teachers for conducting such an interactive and activity based workshop. It was very appropriate and nice.

Mita Mitra : The training was useful to us. We learn many new things about teaching. The presentation is very nice and clear. Overall it was very informative, fun and easy to follow.
