Opening of Ratnakar North Point School , Howrah (W.B.) was a long awaited dream of an educational saint (the founding father) Shri Ratnakar Pandey . In the month of Jan, 1984 he laid the foundation stone with a view to cater the best educational need of the locality as well as that of other parts of West Bengal. The founding father, Shri Ratnakar Pandey , began the journey of opening of Educational Institutions from 1970 and is chairman of several institutions and hospitals at present. The Ratnakar North Point School of today as understood has taken major strides towards imparting not just conventional education but also the values, ethics and expectations of contemporary India from its youth.

ACT conducted a seminar on "Phonology and Classroom Management" at Ratnakar North Point School on 30th November, 2016. It started with a warm welcome and introductory session. It then went ahead with various activities and lecture sessions involving the participants mostly teachers. It helped the teachers to learn a lot many things which were new to them. Besides exchange of their thoughts and sharing of their experiences through various activities were engrossing and entertaining. Soon this collaborative effort will turn into effective partnership with the school, and we walk a step ahead towards better learning environment.

NANCY DADEL : The training was proper and timely. Enjoyed most was classroom management. It was a good experience. Came to know about many problem associated with children and how to manage those. The part we needs improvement was phonic sound part should have been little extended and clear.

AMIT SAHA : The training session was as per our requirement and cleared all our doubts. Liked most the classroom management session and activities like role play that we had to perform. I learnt many things throughout which will be helpful in my future experiences. Every part of the program was good and needed no improvement.

PRITHA BANERJEE : The activity session was fun and enlightening. It was interesting and enlightening. The trainers were helpful and amiable. I had liked the entire session of training conducted by ACT. The discussion on phonology and pronunciation could have been more interesting with addition of the interactive session, as was held during the second half of the training.

BARUN KUNKRI : I liked most the drama session done by the school teachers. Throughout the session, I had enjoyed a lot and might all these modules will help us in the future. Everything was up to the mark and all the modules are perfectly completed.
