I believe that good teaching has a great relevance to students’ lives and teachers have a crucial role to play in society. Teachers must create a respectful learning environment and forge strong connection with students ensuring that they have fewer obstacles when it comes to learning. Therefore, we need quality teachers more than qualified teachers and of course, with a passion for teaching.

On Teacher’s Day I would encourage teachers to stay in this rewarding profession and make that greater impact on the students and shape the future generation. It is more than communicating your subject knowledge to your students but the ability to connect with your students and rekindle their interest in learning is all that takes to make a difference.
