ACT witnesses yet another grand response at its symposium in Bangkok

ACT’s 3rd and the final leg of symposium held at Hotel Lotus Sukhumvit, Bangkok, turned out to be another hit after Kolkata and Bangalore symposiums. Bangkok witnessed the maximum number of participants, 118 comprising of ACT alumni and other enthusiastic participants who came together to celebrate their success, share their teaching experiences and connect with each other while listening to some of the best minds in the field of global education. The speakers of the event included notable experts from the field of education:
Prof. Abhinash Kumar - Director - ADDOE, Amity University
His presentation highlighted Amity and ACT & Amity Educational Partnership while touching upon “The changing landscape of 21st century Online Education in Asia”.
Ms. Janat Blackmon - PYP International Baccalaureate Educator, Bangkok, Thailand, immaculately discussed “The Future of Curriculum”.
Ms. Weeranuch Kamolrungvarakul - TEDx Talk Speaker & Co-founder and CEO of Infinitus Services, founder of P2N Education and Primus Alpha Education. She provided a thorough understanding with a presentation on “How do 21st century young learners learn?”
Mr Kittipop Peuwnuan - Academic Territory Channel Manager, Microsoft (Thailand) Limited presented an interesting perspective on “Education for Class of 2030”.
Dr Margaret Davitt Maughan - Associate Academic Director, USA,
Asian College of Teachers discussed in details about the “Research-Based Instructional Methodology”.
The symposium in Bangkok saw some great amity and greater insights into 21st Century Transformational Teaching Methods and Standards and how to really make a difference in the lives of today’s learners. The speakers interacted with our participants, shared their experiences and answered all their queries, thereby inspiring them in their teaching journey as today’s educators. In the end, the felicitation of our alumni by Dr Margaret Davitt Maughan, Associate Academic Director, USA, Dr. Sanjib Chakraborty, Dean, CEO, Asian College of Teachers and Ms. Janat Blackmon, PYP International Baccalaureate Educator, Bangkok was the cherry on the cake. Our alumni had a gala time during convocation and memories to take back home as they clicked pictures of their graduation to cherish for a lifetime.
