ACT partners with Special Schools to shape Educators for Inclusive Classrooms
7th June 2019
ACT is glad to announce its partnership with Abhilasha School for Special Needs Children Society in Secunderabad and Learning Skills Academy in Delhi in a bid to prepare and produce efficient educators and put them one step ahead of others. This is to provide an opportunity to ACT trainees who can work as interns or volunteers and get an exposure to the real classroom environment while gaining an in-depth knowledge in handling SEN children. This will also help them develop skills and strategies which they can apply in classrooms in future. Both the institutions are committed to serve children with special needs with professional excellence within a family-centered, collaborative atmosphere built on a foundation of dignity, respect and integrity.
ACT is always on the lookout towards producing well equipped educators. This collaboration will help the trainees to explore the SEN teaching strategies apt to meet the needs of individual learners. Catering to children with special needs has always been a concern for ACT which led to the designing of various courses with an emphasis on diverse areas of SEN covering an array of topics like Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities and many more. The courses prepare candidates who may choose to work as Shadow teachers, Inclusive classroom teacher, Teaching assistant etc.
