13th June 2019
In order to transform education by focusing on the 21st century teaching skills, Microsoft has collaborated with Asian College of Teachers to come forward with their online Microsoft Certified Educator program (MCE) program to transform the way teachers teach with the help of their tools and technology. Microsoft Certified Educator or MCE program is aimed at educators who are looking to acquaint their students with 21st century skills by redesigning their lessons and learning activities and following Microsoft’s 21CLD or 21st Century Learning Design. The online program aims to reach as many educators as possible by joining hands with ACT and connect the gap between technology skills and innovative teaching among the 21st century educators. The program will enable the teachers to upgrade their skills and become more innovative with cloud-based tools, regardless of the device they use. Educators will also learn how to use basic features of Office 365 including Microsoft Teams, OneNote, Sway, Microsoft Forms, Office Online and One Drive. At the end of the program, the educators need to take the online test by Microsoft to test their learning skills and become eligible to earn a globally recognized certificate.
