ACT conducts its maiden MCE examination in Mumbai

Asian College of Teachers has successfully conducted its first Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) exam on 31st August 2019 at ACT Mumbai Branch. The exam is conducted online for a duration of one hour. Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) certification is a great add-on for modern educators based in any part of the globe as it equips them with technology literacy competencies needed to provide a great learning experience for today’s learners.
Through a collection of videos, 21st Century Learning Design for Educators has built on the ITL research methodology providing a collaborative, practice-based process to help educators transform how they design enriching learning activities for their students. MCE certification is ideal for teacher trainees, teacher trainers and in-service teachers and trainers. This one exam enables educators to demonstrate 21st Century Learning Design (21st CLD) skills identified in the Innovative Teaching and Learning (ITL) Research project into learning activities using Microsoft tools for education which will facilitate student collaboration, effective communication, problem-solving and use of ICT.
The exam comprising of 40 questions with a total score of 1000 marks has multiples sections with several question formats, like multiple-choice single answer, multiple-choice multiple answers, best answer, extended matching, drag-and-drop, simulations, and case studies. Interested examinees receive practice test login details before the exam to improve their speed and accuracy.
