ACT celebrates its 2nd convocation ceremony during Asia Symposium in Hyderabad

To celebrate the efforts and hard work of our students and to formally acknowledge their development and subsequent transformation as an educator to teach and touch lives, Asian College of Teachers held its grand Convocation Ceremony cum Symposium on "Holistic Learning, Effective Lesson Planning and Authentic Assessment" in Hyderabad on the 12th February. The Asia Symposium cum Convocation ceremony held in the city of the Nizams, felicitated our Graduates in the presence of ACT’s Associate Academic Director from USA, Dr Margaret Davitt Maughan.

The Convocation Ceremony was attended by all our past and present students and has proved to be the best platform to meet and create memories to cherish for a lifetime. The Asia Symposium in Hyderabad witnessed two pertinent presentations by Ms. Afshan Urooj, English and Business Studies HOD, Solitaire Global Schools, and Dr Margaret Davitt Maughan, Associate Academic Director, USA, Asian College of Teachers.

The symposium started off with a Presentation on Holistic Learning by Ms. Afshan Urooj, where she spoke and discussed the importance of Holistic learning in the Education of a Child. Her presentation and the information she passed down to our participants present in the event surely will help them prosper in their professional field. The second half of the program saw Dr Margaret give her presentation on Effective Lesson Planning and Authentic Assessment where she enlightened our students with her immense knowledge on the subject and her lucid style of explanation through which she certainly won the hearts of all the participants.

The program ended with the much-awaited convocation ceremony where all our students were felicitated by Dr Margaret Davitt Maughan.
