ACT Asia Symposium held in Bangkok was a huge success

ACT conducted its Annual Convocation ceremony during Asia Symposium 2020 on "Holistic Learning, Effective Lesson Planning and Authentic Assessment" in Bangkok on 29th February.The day was quite eventful with a swarm of presentations by different respected personalities. The event won accolades for its unique and noteworthy presentations from celebrated personalities from the education industry. They threw light on the best practices of holistic learning across the globe.

The program started with a power packed presentation from the lead trainer, IEC department, Aroonpradit School, Petchaburi Province. Mr Smohith shared his insights on Technology Enabled Learning with a powerful presentation. Next in line was, Miss Melissa Perham, who is a Primary Teacher of One World International School in Singapore. She shared information regarding “Teaching in Singapore and other international locations" which was extremely informative especially for those eyeing an international teaching career in SE Asia.

Post lunch, it was time for Dr Margaret Davitt Maughan, the Associate Academic Director, USA, Asian College of Teachers to talk about Holistic Education and threw light on varied aspects of lesson planning and assessment. There would have been no better closure than Dr Sanjib Chakraborty, Dean and Lead Trainer, Asian College of Teachers coming up with the final presentation. He informed and educated all present with his pertinent presentation on Professional Development for 21st Century Teachers. The eventful day came to an end with the much awaited convocation ceremony. The Convocation Ceremony witnessed the celebration, recognition and achievements of the ACT graduates. ACT felicitated them by handing over certificates.
