Asian College of Teachers celebrated its 13th Annual Day at Club VerdeVista Kolkata

Asian College of Teachers celebrated its 13th Annual Day and Award Ceremony with much pomp and grandeur on 8th January, 2021 at the magnificent Club Verde Vista, Panchsayar, Kolkata. The celebrations were held by maintaining all the necessary COVID protocols in place. Unlike every year, this year’s one-day event saw active participation from the ACT members of the Kolkata office mainly, who came together to join the 13th year celebration of brilliance, adaptation and learning brimming with discussions, presentations, songs, dance and drama in all its glitz and glamour. Given the ongoing pandemic situation, outstation members who missed the celebration were virtually present via online video conferencing platform to celebrate the success of the year gone by and to set goals for 2021. The day gathered pace with the beautiful rendition of popular classics by ACT members followed by the introductory speech by Ms. Sutapa Ghatak, Executive Director, Asian College of Teachers, felicitation of the newcomers, the curtain raiser, presentation on “Road to Recovery 2021” by Dr Sanjib Chakraborty, Founder, Asian College of Teachers and the introduction of the new Board of Directors. “We changed and adapted to every challenge we faced,” expressed Dr Chakraborty, explaining in context to the year gone by that how it was a learning experience for ACT in terms of adapting to the unpredictable situation. Apart from setting the macro goals for 2021, the day was packed with fun-filled activities throughout and of course, the focal point remained the lip-smacking food. The day came to an end with the much-awaited award ceremony for honouring outstanding performances throughout the year and of course, the mandatory photo session.
