We, at Asian College of Teachers (ACT), are committed to data protection and comply with the UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). We have been certified by ICO (Information Commissioners Office, UK), the UK's independent body set up to uphold information rights and data protection. The ICO is a member of the key global data protection and information rights fora. Data protection policy basically sets out rules and standards for the use and handling ('processing') of information ('personal data') in this case, of mainly our students and other stakeholders. It depends on the notions of principles, rights and accountability factors. We are maintaining all the norms of Data Security for our students and partners and the data that is being shared by our students and partners is completely safe as we process our data fairly and legally as we totally support the rights of individuals and respect their privacy. The personal data is the information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual and that being shared by our students is secured as we handle personal data in a consistent manner.
