Asian College of Teachers (ACT) conducted a successful virtual teacher development program for the teachers of The Creek Planet School, Hyderabad between 19th and 24th April, 2021. Around 275 Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary teachers from TCPS Neptune Campus Kukatpally, TCPS Venus Campus Bachupally, TCPS Mercury Campus Bowrampet, TCPS Mars Camus Miyapur, TCPS Uranus Campus Nallagandla and Ambitus World School attended the 5-day long Teacher Development Program on Effective Teaching and Learning Strategies. The sessions started in the presence of Mr. Narendra P Edpuganti, Founder & Managing Director and Ms. B. Anupama, Academic Officer of Futuristic Edu Initiatives, Hyderabad turned out to be compelling as the sessions were specifically designed keeping the training needs of the teachers in mind. The sessions conducted by Ms. Kuhurina Basu, Head of Academics and Ms. Aditi Ghosh, Senior Trainer, Asian College of Teachers, were interactive and engaging where the topics like Hybrid Learning - What and How, Tools and Techniques, Classroom Management Strategies and Assessment & Evaluation were covered in details. The Creek Planet School is one of the top CBSE Schools in Hyderabad with branches at Bachupally, Kukatpally, Miyapur, Medchal and Chandanagar. Great continuing professional development is a combination of theory and practice and we are hopeful that the sessions will have a positive impact on the student learning outcomes.
