ACT Reopened Kolkata Office Maintaining Strict Protocols
27th July 2021
Accelerating the path of returning to normalcy, Asian College of Teachers (ACT) reopened its Kolkata office on 26th July, 2021 after being closed for a period of around 2 months due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The reopening of the office is being implemented in strict accordance with all the government directed protocols following sanitization, other necessary changes as well as putting new practices in place.
Recognizing the fact that vaccination is the best bet to a proper return to normalcy, ACT undertook employee vaccination drive that began in June. With this being done, the process of reopening becomes a smoother one, thus ensuring a sense of safety among employees. ACT’s goal is to collaboratively guarantee that employees feel safe and secure and navigating the complexities of ‘new normal’ becomes easy.
A list of protocols has been put together to be strictly followed to keep the workplace safe and sound. New restrictions and limits have been put in place to keep a tab on the number of people allowed to gather in classrooms and other work areas. By maintaining social distance, wearing masks in the workplace and washing hands now and then, ACT looks forward to a positive restart to gradually bounce back to the new normal.
