ACT Teachers Day Celebration was a breather amidst the pandemic blues

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) indulged in Teacher’s Day celebration with great zeal and gusto on 6th September, 2021. Every year, Teacher’s Day is celebrated across the country on the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, i.e. 5th September as we express our gratitude and appreciate the contribution of teachers and educators in our lives. The Teacher’s Day celebration at ACT began with the introductory speech by Ms. Sutapa Chakraborty Ghatak, Executive Director, Asian College of Teachers, who thanked the trainers, evaluators and coordinators and spoke about their noteworthy contribution.

ACT’s trainers, evaluators and coordinators, form one of the strong pillars of strength for ACT and their invaluable contribution was celebrated throughout starting with a video collage presentation. This time the celebration had a surprise element as the program was co-hosted by Dr Sanjib Chakraborty, Founder, Asian College of Teachers (ACT) along with the hostess, Ms. Suparnaa Sinha Dutta, Director, Corporate Communications.

Members of the ACT Kolkata centre put up a brilliant show comprising exceptional dance performances, melodious song presentations, two humorous plays that made the audience roll on the floor with laughter. Apart from this there were some fun activities for the trainers, evaluators and the coordinators which saw their active participation. It was like a breath of fresh air amidst the pandemic blues. Dr. Sanjib Chakraborty also gladly answered a bagful of questions from the training, evaluation and coordination teams which further added to the atmosphere. The program concluded with a big Teacher’s Day wish, felicitation and a thank you to all our trainers, evaluators and coordinators as they were handed gifts as tokens of appreciation for their constant effort and enthusiasm in fulfilling their responsibilities with passion and dedication. The celebration ended with the photo sessions as the day was captured on camera with some beautiful memories of the day to cherish forever.
