ACT celebrates Teacher's Day appreciating the contribution of teachers in everyone's lives

6th September 2022

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) observed Teacher’s Day with a grand celebration on 5th September, 2022 at its Kolkata centre. Like every year, this year was no different when Teacher’s Day was celebrated with gusto, appreciating the contribution of teachers in our lives. The day marks the birth anniversary of India's second President and first Vice President, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and has always been a much-awaited event on ACT's calendar. The celebration began with a graceful dance performance - ‘guru vandana’ by one of the ACT members. Dr Sanjib Chakraborty, Founder & Chairman, Asian College of Teachers (ACT) along with Ms. Sutapa Ghatak, Executive Director, Asian College of Teachers, felicitated the trainers, evaluators and coordinators, who are the strong pillars of strength for ACT. Dr Chakraborty spoke about the teachers' accomplishments and their noteworthy contribution towards educating students.

Enthusiastic members of the ACT Kolkata centre put together a brilliant show comprising outstanding dance performances, melodious song presentations and a humorous play that hooked the audience throughout. Apart from this there were some fun activities for the trainers, evaluators and the coordinators where they participated with great enthusiasm. The celebration ended on a happy note, thanking all our trainers, evaluators and coordinators for their relentless efforts of preparing global educators who can in turn touch many more lives.
