ACT celebrated its Convocation in Bangkok with Pomp and Grandeur

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) celebrated the efforts and hard work of its students and officially acknowledged their development and consequent transformation as global educators who can teach and touch lives, in a grand convocation ceremony held at Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel on 12th November, 2022. ACT alumni were felicitated by ACT Founder – Dr Sanjib Chakraborty, ACT Associate Dean – Dr Kuldeep Agarwal and ACT Associate Director – Dr Margaret Davitt Maughan. Apart from the ACT Academic Body members, the glittering ceremony was attended by noted academicians, Prof. Dr Edward Roy Krishnan (Malaysia), Assistant. Prof. Dr Ake Choonhachatrachai (Thailand), Dr Arnulfo S. Aniel (Arnie) (Philippines), Mr Marciano Birjmohun (Netherlands) and Dr Mala Sengupta (India) who spoke at the event sharing their thoughts and knowledge with the graduates. It turned out to be the ideal platform for the graduates as they got the opportunity to meet the ‘who’s who’ of global education. ACT was excited to welcome its alumni at the grand graduation event and set the stage for them to enjoy the special day, celebrate their achievements and provide the opportunity for them to engage in network building. It provided them with the platform to build invaluable connections with Asia’s best education leaders, listen to the best minds in the field of teaching and academics and learn about the career opportunities in Asia and beyond. The day was complete with a sumptuous spread of lunch, photo session to capture the moments forever, networking, and lots of interactions.
