ACT Celebrates 16 Years of Excellence with Glitz, Glamour and Awards Galore

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) celebrated its 16-year journey with a 2-day Annual General Meeting at the luxurious Park Prime Hotel in Kolkata on the 22nd and 23rd of April, 2023. ACT members from regional centres also came together to celebrate the year that went by and to set goals for the current year. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) was filled with panel discussions, presentations, performances, and delicious food.

The event witnessed a grand opening ceremony, including an inaugural lamp-lighting ceremony and welcome performance by the Founder & Chairman, Asian College of Teachers, Dr Sanjib Chakraborty and the Board of Directors. The traditional welcome for newcomers and a curtain raiser presentation focused on new accreditations, ISO Audit, and Convocation. This year's celebration saw less presentations and more panel discussions, interactive activities, and performances.

The highlight of the celebration was the ACT Awards 2022, spread over two days, which provided recognition and motivation to the employees. The two days were also filled with lighter moments, with active participation from most of the staff members, surprises, fun-filled activities, foot-tapping song and dance performances, and rib-tickling plays, along with a spread of delectable platters.

The second day concluded with the much-awaited and mandatory photo session and the ACT family group picture. The AGM ended on a fun note with a poolside after-party, filled with fun and frolic, along with a promise to keep adding feathers to ACT's crown of glory.

The event was a true celebration of ACT's journey so far, with an eye on future achievements. The 2-day gala event was a testament to ACT's commitment to its employees and students, and a showcase of its excellence in education.
