ACT Founder and Chairman meets ASIC CEO in London to discuss varied strategies to deliver the best teacher education

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) Founder and Chairman, Dr Sanjib Chakraborty had a very fruitful meeting with the CEO of Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC), Mr Lee Hammond in London on 22nd June, 2023. Mr Lee Hammond has been at ASIC for more than 16 years steering the ASIC team to help ASIC accredited educational institutions to deliver high-quality educational experiences and provide a blueprint for their success. The meeting revolved around some key issues like effective strategies on academic audit i.e. to bring in more quality processes in the design and delivery of courses offered by ACT, expansion plans of ACT in Asia and a strong emphasis on course enhancements in a bid to offer a high quality of learning and to opt for regular assessment of teaching effectiveness and pedagogical methods.
As an academician, Dr Sanjib Chakraborty is on a mission to increase access to teacher education to produce a workforce of well-trained and motivated teachers. ACT is keen to take the right measures which have to be knitted together to improve every area of teaching, training and learning and reach out more and more to the teaching aspirants and working teachers with quality teacher education in order to produce global educators.
