Employees of Asian College of Teachers Were Part of Fire Drill and Training

On 11th September, 2023, a group of ACT employees participated in the hands-on fire safety training. This proactive exercise was aimed at equipping employees with the necessary information about the fire safety measures. The training witnessed the active participation of ACT employees, security personnel and first responders, who collectively engaged in a simulated fire emergency scenario. The drill was designed to evaluate response times, team coordination, and the functionality of fire suppression equipment, including fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems.
Asian College of Teachers (ACT) played a vital role in ensuring that its employees were well-prepared to understand and handle the basics of fire safety during such situations. ACT's dedication to safety and training extended to its staff, empowering them with essential knowledge. The comprehensive training covered a range of critical topics, including understanding the nature of fires and associated hazards, appropriate actions during a fire outbreak, personal and workplace safety measures, and familiarity with safety infrastructure like safety stairs, Manual Call Points (MCP), fire exit routes, assembly points, and types of fire extinguishers and their usage. This safety training was aimed at the well-being of the staff who understood the importance of preparedness in the face of potential emergencies. Such training exercises play an indispensable role in creating a secured environment for all employees.
