ASIC Conducts a High Quality Audit for Quality Assurance of Asian College of Teachers

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) has always been seeking international accreditation in order to enhance academic integrity for its global student base as ACT is committed to outstanding teaching and aims to provide its students with a memorable learning experience. To keep this going we often go through a quality assurance process by esteemed accrediting bodies like Accreditation Service for Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC). On 6th and 7th November, 2023 a senior educational leader and an ASIC inspector, Dr Karl Meneghellan from ASIC conducted an institutional audit which is an external quality assurance mechanism which looks into the effectiveness of internal quality assurance and a commitment to continuous quality enhancement at Asian College of Teachers – Kolkata office. ASIC is a UK based accrediting body recognised by UKVI in UK, is a member of the CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG) in USA and is listed in their International Directory, is a member of the BQF (British Quality Foundation) and are institutional members of EDEN (European Distance and E-Learning Network).  They review and conduct assessment in areas like Premises and Health & Safety, Management and Staff Resources, Learning and Teaching; Course Delivery, Quality Assurance and Enhancement, Student Welfare, Awards and Qualifications, Marketing and Recruitment. An accrediting body like ASIC provides continual support to ACT as accreditation with ASIC is not a one-time process and ASIC is committed to supporting the on-going development and quality enhancement of ACT. We at ACT are hopeful that the institution can reap the benefits of this audit immensely and we remain current and relevant on the basis of a systematic scheme of quality.
