16th February 2024
Asian College of Teachers (ACT) immersed itself in the festive spirit with the traditional celebration of ‘Saraswati Puja’ on 14th February 2024 at its Kolkata office. This annual celebration marks the onset of spring and is observed with great zeal and enthusiasm by ACT members each year. True to its tradition, ‘Vasant Panchami’ holds significance across India, symbolizing the arrival of spring and the attendees seeking divine blessings for success and prosperity. ACT welcomed the goddess with vibrant festivities, as employees adorned in yellow-themed attire gathered to offer 'pushpanjali' to the revered goddess of knowledge. The center buzzed with activities and exuded a lively ambience as members came together to seek blessings and wisdom for the upcoming year. As no celebration is complete without the culinary delights, ACT members relished a delectable spread of 'bhog' and 'prasad' following the traditional customs. The occasion provided an opportunity for attendees to partake in the joyous festivities while invoking blessings and embracing the spirit of learning and knowledge embodied by the goddess. As the vibrant colors of ‘Saraswati Puja’ brightened the Kolkata office, ACT embraced the joyous spirit of the season, spreading hope and positivity while seeking blessings for a prosperous journey ahead.
