Overall, I had a very positive experience with the course. I particularly appreciated how supportive the staff and academic team were throughout the research process. Completing a thesis can sometimes feel like a very solitary process, so having people available to provide guidance, encouragement and constructive feedback made a significant difference. Completing the Professional Doctorate in Education through ACT, tied to my EIU study, was one of the most demanding but rewarding stretches of my career. Balancing full-time teaching with doctoral research meant long evenings and weekends, but the structure pushed me to turn everyday classroom questions — like how trilingual immersion actually works for students — into a properly researched, mixed-methods study. The supervision was practical rather than abstract, which suited me; I wanted a program that connected to real school contexts, not just theory.

Overall the course is good. I definetely gained something new. Assignments are designed nicely. Reading material is also useful. Though I wish to receive more specific knowledge regarding teaching. Especially during webinars, I find them quite surfacial and lacking information which can be implemented. Many things from the course are familiar to me because I am intensively teaching for around 10 years, and know a lot from my own experience. Also communication between students and university could happen faster.
