It was a wonderful experience since I have come across quite a few students with learning difficulties in my teaching career. Unfortunately I was unable to do a course on special education due to personal and professional commitments. Though I did attend a few workshops, they did not give me the right tools required to help and build confidence in students with specific learning disabilities. After retirement I felt this was the best time to take up a course that bi always wanted to do.

As I said previously. It seems that there was a change and it is very possitive. I enjoyed assignments, readings and videos could be better. Some were not good with the sound. A bit confusing sometimes since I felt that the second video of the explaination of the Micro teaching, speaks about the level of ebglish of the students. It does say ESL behind the person talking. It was my assumption I did not have to complete that since my studies were not on ESL so I HOPE that is not something that would affect my grade on the Lesson plan. In conclusion, it was a bit confusing but much better than at the beginning. The new coordinator Misha was incredibly helpful and efficient.

I enjoyed the workshops that were conducted at the beginning. It gave a feel of hands on experience . While doing assignments, I had to go through the course material provided and which helped in understanding the concepts better.
