This is the first time I took online classes ever. I thought that at first, it would be difficult given that there are no professors or mentors that would guide us to the materials given to us for learning. But then, the handouts were enough to have a full grasp and understanding what needs to be learned and appreciated among students with special needs. Even just in my desk, I had fun reading the materials as if someone is really guiding me through the information I am learning. To sum it all up, I am very satisfied with my experience with ACT Online Learning. :D

It was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed exploring effective strategies to make learning accessible to all. The course was detailed and enlightening as it also taught me ways to help my students focus on their abilities rather that their disabilities. It was a wonderful experience to learn about the Special Need Students, the challenges they face and how unique they are. Various case studies brought clarity to the concept. The course helped me to understand the challenges a teacher can face and how we can be well equipped and overcome all hurdles while handling students of Special Need. Verbal and non-verbal strategies discussed in the course will help us to guide our students better.

When u started the course I was deeply interested in learning about ADHD AUTISM and learning disability. This course has helped in reaching that goal and also bringing about various problems and difficulties faced by them as well as strategies to help them. It provides a vast understanding of how to go about the best way to teach these students and to bring them back to the classroom environment. Knowing the minds of the students and how they function has helped to understand them better and tailor our strategies to their learning style and that makes us more sensitive to help them out and reach out to them. The course experience was great and the case studies gave a better understanding of the theories mentioned.
