I would like to center this experience based on y reflections after the course. When I had decided to enroll for this course, I was quite apprehensive about my trainer as I firmly believe a teacher is like a flame who ignites your passion for teaching.I was taken aback when a very, sweet voice called me up 2 days before the commencement of my course and I was absolutely thrilled to know that she would be my trainer, Ms. June.Her voice had an immediate calming effect on me. I would like to mention that the hands-on activities, specially the one along with music resonated well with me. It's amazing how music can enhance a lesson.The trainer was extremely patient and provided us a step- by-step demo along with the lesson plans. I couldn't have asked for better peers as we had a ball of a time apart from learning new content. But along the roller coster ride came a bump.It was pouring cats and dogs ,the school where we had to go for teaching practice had declared a holiday for the students. We were in a fix and it was decided that we would be the ACT staff.It was challenging as they were beginners and I had no insight into their background.But as I am quite persistent by nature, I was determined to put in all my learning into this lesson. This teaching experience will be one that i will cherish forever. A word to TEFL aspirants-Being in the teaching profession since the last 20 years, one needs to come in with an open mind. I left with a vast knowledge coupled with practical experience in the classroom.One needs to be a blank page in order to write your own script in TEFL.

Hello! I am Sudipta. I have few years experience in teaching. As I said I have experience , but now I am much more confident and now I know the method and technical steps of it.I have learnt lots of things here, but I mostly enjoyed the activity sessions and lessons like disaster management,classroom management, specially the skills.I have spent gala times with my peers and our trainer June.I will say, if someone is passionate about teaching and wants to teach abroad then please join the in class 120 hours at TEFL from ACT.It was a great and memorable experience in my 120 hours TEFL programme.

I had a great experience with ACT TEFL Kochi. I was here at the academy with an empty basket and I'm glad that this course has given me lot of information to groom myself to achieve my goals. Trainer (Anamika) and staff are to be commendable as they have given immense support and guidance through out the session. I'm happy that I took the right decision to do my TEFL course with ACT.

The course has definitely helped me learn a lot. It taught me both about teaching and working together as a group. The trainer was very helpful, she was unbiased and catered to the needs of all the trainees. The overall experience of the course has given me a small insight about the TEFL teaching experience.

this was the most interesting and fun training program ever. gained a lot of experience and confidence. the teaching practices were the most helpful, which helped a lot in understanding the importance of the lesson plans and classroom management techniques.

I loved the entire experience. Got to know about a lot of new things. I did somethings that I've never done in my life before. It was an amazing three weeks for me. I gained a lot of knowledge and experience from this course.

Overall, it was a nice experience. It was interactive and fun. The teaching activities gave me a boost as I really enjoyed the learning experience- especially phonology. Another thing that I particularly liked was the emphasis on empathy towards learners and error correction. The course module focused on being an energetic and communicative teacher as opposed to the stereotypical boring teacher. The feedbacks were constructive and the knowledge we gained was quite all-rounded. Bonus points for the trainer as she was enthusiastic and exuded great energy. Thumbs up :)

This TEFL course has taken me on a journey of self-awareness through learning. It's demanding, rigorous but also fun and engaging. One should definitely come with an open mind for this course as it gives you a different perspective and outlook to the TEFL teaching. Unconventional and productive methods of teaching. I would recommend the In-Class Program for all TEFL aspirants, as it prepares you for anticipatory problems one would face teaching learners of English Language. I'm glad, I participated in this program. Special mention - My trainer, Jhumur, who has been an inspiration and a motivational force for taking my TEFL journey ahead.
