I came to this program, with different exceptions than most other trainees, as I\'ve never been a practicing teacher (also I come from the IT world). My main intention was to gain confidence to teach as a volunteer. I thought doing an in class training would help me have real time experience and feedback on areas I need to improve. Teaching Practice was an amazing experience for me. With each new practice, my confidence in my ability to handle and impart knowledge to students grew. Now I don\'t have any doubt in my ability to impart knowledge, with right content and direction (curriculum). Peer students, most of who were practicing teachers, were excellent to be with. Their knowledge and their confusions in unlearning and learning skills helped me in my journey too. They were also very generous in giving honest encouraging feedbacks which helped me in my improvement as well. The sessions taken by Anamika and Sai were excellent. It was high in content, yet, understandable by a novice like me in the field of teaching. Their classes were universal in nature. It will not only help me handle teaching related activities but corporate situations and life in general. These are life lessons and will remain with me forever. Last but not the least, should I talk about the positive energy that was so effervescent in the class which ensured pure learning and positive experience. I will miss the entire experience. :)

Amazing experience. Trainers were very good and always available when we needed them. Active participation from everyone. Never was I, so interested to learn. Very interesting sessions, Loved the overall experience.

My experience at ACT has really been very enjoyable. The course has been intensive and effective. The learning has been fun. Learning was hectic but never boring and I always wanted to learn more from our teacher. Grammar teaching was useful. The real teaching experiences in schools were good. Thanks ACT and a big thanks to all our trainers and the very best to my friends.

it is the best place to shine our teaching methods. it helped me to develop my confidence and methods of teaching. before i was not out spoken and timid, now i become a good teacher. I learnt the basic lesson plans, listening,reading,writing speaking and the innovative teaching lesson plans. actually it helped alot to improve my areas of weakness.

Through the TEFL course I got a lot of new and innovative ideas about teaching English.Different types of strategies ,methods , techniques , class-room management techniques etc. As far as concerned me, I could improve ,polish and update my knowledge.Of course, TEFL will open the windows to the world.The most important thing is that whatever the information and ideas we have got from the Asian college of Teachers, which we should put into practice in an effective manner otherwise, we will not get the benefit. Mainly because, we are living in a competent world.So the thing is we must be competent , especially in language skills. I think , the TEFL course will enable us to become competent
