My name is Shreya Bangera. My batch was from 11.12.2023- 31.01.2024. I have an MA in English from Mumbai University and have over 4 years of experience of teaching various complex subjects like Communication skills to Undergrad Engineering students and Business Communication to Undergrad Commerce students. I have completed TEFL and have done it from ACT Asian College of teachers under the trainer June ma'am. The training was efficient, and I liked how the trainers taught to plan lessons for 4 skills and for grammar. I liked June Ma'am's frank approach to teaching, and I specifically liked how the entire teaching programme was made interesting with various warmers and coolers and teaching aids. If you are a working professional, you definitely must try doing this ACT TEFL course as it will enhance your chances for getting better earning jobs.

Right from the beginning the support personnel and the trainers have been very helpful and patient, willing to clarify all doubts and queries. The course was well planned; lead trainer Jhumur Chattopadhyay and trainer Ann Hermina Christy, did an absolutely fantabulous job of delivering the content. They, very skillfully, engaged the whole class, over a span of 14 sessions.

I joined this course with much apprehension, though I have been wanting to do this course for more than a year and half. I had enquired about offline classes but the timings and the location of the classes was not feasible for me. I joined this course on 9th October, thinking that i may not be able to understand much as i am not much of a tech person nor i prefer online classes for this type of detailed session. But I think June has helped each one of us without knowing any one of us, our weaknesses or strengths. She has treated all of us equally. I saw her patience with students who have to work a lot on themselves. From her I take with me patience, a smiling face, an enthusiastic voice, compassion, understanding and words of encouragement always.
