I embarked on the TEFL/TESOL journey a bit of apprehension, but our facilitators Aditi Ghosh and Ruchi Tiwary were so approachable that my apprehensions disappeared within the first hr of the class. Both of them were so excellent in explaining the various methodologies. They introduced us to how the English language can be taken in multiple ways depending on the whether its Kids or adults, and make it a fun process for the learner irrespective of the age. Phonology was taken in such a way that I enjoyed and understood the topic better than when I had learnt it, from experienced professors at a Graduate or at the Post Graduate level. Music could be incorporated in a classroom was shown in such an effective way that am surely going to use it as when I get a chance to become a facilitator myself. They really made the course an easy process and answered all our queries in each of the sessions with patience and made sure that our doubts were cleared before they went ahead, irrespective of whether it was the first class or the last or whether we had surpassed the class timings. The 120 hr TEFL/TESOL is well planned by ACT as it does touch the key points that are needed when the trainee becomes the facilitator.

After the introduction session in the first class I realised that compared to my peers I was a total nobody. I thought it's going to be hard to follow and made up my mind to be more dedicated and take the course more seriously. But I didn't have to struggle much because both my trainer and my classmates helped me out a lot. I never felt left back. With each day of class I started realising how much time and effort teaching demanded. To be frank, I even had some second thoughts about my ambition. It was my trainer who showed me how well demands of the job can be handled with a little organization skills and dedication. I will be always thankful to her and the institute for being a very important part in my journey to become a successful teacher. The classes were both fun and enlightening. We had several sessions by a bunch of excellent and experienced trainers. Apart from the classroom setting we were also put in separate breakout rooms for discussing assignments, which helped in developing and polishing skills such as teamwork and communication skills. I gained a lot of experience and knowledge and I can't wait to share it with a class which I'm pretty sure will find both entertaining and helpful
