I found the course quite helpful especially the sessions which were conducted in between. They made many things easier to understand. The tools learnt through the course have improved the way of teaching. More interactive sessions should be included as a common platform gives you exposure to learn from others. The techniques taught in the course have helped me to emerge as a better teacher cum facilitator.

Experience teaches a lot and it changes perspectives of our past knowledge. My views on language teaching really changed after the course. A better understanding of ourselves, dulhania, age level everything matters. The examples and the theories are of international standards. My tutor was in my reach. She used to respond soon after raising a ticket in the portal. Doubts in the theories were well elaborated by my tutor. It was understandable. She's always ready to explain the doubts many times. They follow a systematic approach which is impressive.

"Teaching is about guiding the learners and not leading them." Taking a student's hand and leading it through all the thicks and thins in which the teacher is in the front will only make the students rely more on the teacher. Rather the teacher should be behind the students and cheer him/her up and guide her. And give the student an assurity that if the student fails or overcome any obstacles... The teacher is just walking behind.

Overall, I had a good experience with the course and felt the assessments helped consolidate the content of the course. The video content was helpful but there were too many videos. I feel the layout of the videos could be changed so that it looks more organized instead of having to scroll along with the page too much. The course notes were well presented and they consisted of relevant information. The assignments were helpful to consolidate the course content and felt more like a revision which even helped highlight the important topics within each module. I feel the aesthetic of the portal could be altered to make it look more appealing and modernized. I was very happy with the prompt communication and feedback from the team whether it was to do with the assignments or queries. The Asian College of Teachers team has been very supportive, kind and efficient in their work. Thank you and I am looking forward to using the knowledge acquired from the course to make learning more effective and engaging.

It's a year's journey since I took up this program and I was totally clueless about how can I achieve an advanced diploma sitting in the comfort of where ever I am. I request ACT to kindly help me with a placement session as I am looking for some guidance to get the job. I had unfortunately missed the placement session by Shounak Sir held in May which I had even registered for but due to some medical emergency, I couldn't join it.
