I have been working as a teacher of English since 1996 and took a break from October 2017 to 2020. Firstly, due to our daughter's wedding and then the borders getting closed and lockdown because of Covid-19. I was in the Ministry of Higher Education, Sultanate of Oman from 1999 to 2017.

Nothing is as it seems. There are layers upon layers to understand and imbibe. One size doesn't fit all. There is a lot to learn and understand and later practice to check it all out. This course widens the horizon of learning and broadens the mind to assimilate more, in terms of theory and research behind it. Teachers will benefit from the case studies that are given to read and self-assessment exercises as well. I truly believe, all old and new teachers should go for a program like this to keep abreast of what the background to teaching is!

I haven't learned anything before, with such an ease and enjoyment. The content is so beautifully written and its feels like reading a story. The course is designed with ample time for preparation and in such a way the students can easily adopt. I could see myself changing in my teaching practices and; the pedagogy that I have applied since the commencement of the course is appealing to my students which is evident from their feedback.

The journey at ACT is definitely worth pondering. It started beautifully with the course counsellor who gave all the details about the course and its benefits . She also gave complete information about the placement cell and the help given by ACT. Online classes being the new norm, was really good. I got a beautiful opportunity to interact with people from different walks of life. Not to forget my mentors Ms. Rimpa & Ms. Sukanya always prompt to clarify our doubts and also never missed the fun element. They guided us correctly with regards to assignments and never failed to give their comments about our performance. Received the course completion certificate with due respect. I took up the YLTT. This is a self paced learning, which also was interesting. I completed the course with absolute satisfaction. Looking forward to an interesting placement to fulfill my career dream.

Would have been better attending the course in person.As the course is not available in my city and due to the pandemic, the online course proved to be convenient and useful.The course material was useful and informative.The placement webinar by Shounak sir was good and useful.The online course was good but wish you had practically demonstrated the various techniques needed to teach online as it has now become the need of the hour.

It was a good experience learnt new things especially the zoom calls were knowledgeable. I learnt new things the coordinator was good and friendly. The course material was also sufficient and the MCQs were pretty challenging. Overall its a good experience

It is absolutely fine doing this course. This certification would be an additional advantage for me rather than my experience, Learnt new things and approaches in teaching, I am looking for a job abroad. I loved this experience. I made new friends. I learnt new things. It was really a wonderful experience. The tutors were good . The material and content matter was relevant and to the point.
