I had a great experience though it was online but the material n the videos really helped me to understand the field of teaching. My assignments made me understand the course better by applying the work on lesson plans which I feel is very important for a teacher to know,understand and execute. Also, as I specialized in YL , I think I can understand kids in a better way.

This course helped me understand the basics of teaching a language. It also improved my skills to design and devise lesson plans to teach English as a foreign or second lab. The course material is very precisely designed to help the teachers understand the various levels of learners and their learning abilities. Also it helpled to cater to their needs appropriately. It helped me think out of the box to devise teaching strategies so that I can not only help the learners learn the language but also devise methods and activities to make learning more interesting drawing their maximum participation.

I have enjoyed doing theTESOL teaching course at ACT as I constantly learnt about things that are of interest to me. The course was challenging and I was given the support I needed from the tutors. It has been a wonderful experience doing this online course of TEFL. I have been teaching past 23 years but with all implicit knowledge and understanding. Being a passionate teacher, I had explored the ways to be a perfect guide for my students and to use the right methodology. But since it was all explored and experimented, there was always a question of doubt in my mind if I am using the right way or not. This course has given me a confidence and has helped me in adopting a conceptualised way of following the teaching methods. I have also improved my terminology in the line of education. My experience has been more than I had expected. It has been a beautiful voyage in this ocean of knowledge. Although difficult to fathom, yet full of gems. These gems of knowledge are treasures in themselves. The course has been designed beautifully to cover all aspects of language training. The beauty lies in the fact that a novice as well as people with some teaching experience benefit out of it. The MCQs at the end of each phase capture the essence well. The written assignments are a perfect recapitulation of what has been taught and to add to that are the timely and valuable inputs that the evaluators provide after every assignment. Not only that one is even acknowledged on the receipt of any assignment.
