I want to share a very honest experience here. Firstly from the background I belong to, I have very limited diverse educational options. From my childhood only I used to have a notion of doing something different and unique from the rest of the people surrounding me. But in these circumstances it was difficult to find a perfect match for myself. Therefore after completing my graduation I initially joined some corporate companies for regular 9-5 jobs. But very soon I realize it is not my cup of tea. So I decided to immediately opt from those and started searching for my best fit. Hence in the due course my attention fell into TESOL. It took time to understand and gain a rough knowledge about this new thing. And soon I felt this entire thing very interesting for myself. As a girl and a wife of a very mediocre family I could only afford some limited amount which I could spend for my higher studies. And therefore I was searching for an institute who can provide this course within that affordable amount. And finally I found the Asian College of Teachers. I do not have any previous experience of how to deal with such courses and specially an online international course like this. Therefore in the early stages I became a bit confused. After that, when I was gradually trying to get myself accustomed to it, I suddenly became pregnant. So at that time I was going through a very difficult moment. Therefore as a whole I considered myself very blessed to get such a great support from this institute in spite of being an online student. Every time I had a query I contacted my evaluator through the ticket system of my portal. And lastly I was very worried about completing my session in time as now hardly a couple of weeks left for my delivery. And finally I really want to thank ACT for supporting me in this entire journey. And though it is a bit personal, still I want to share that it was my husband who supported me in this entire journey, because without his support it was impossible for me to fulfill my dream.

ACT TESOL course has helped to provide an insight as to what goes into the making of a successful learner centered lesson plan that provides high knowledge retention among students. It has been fun to learn with the Asian College of Teachers, especially with such interactive assignments and well researched notes. It has helped me up-skill as a teacher and gain different perspectives within the classroom.

My experience as a whole was wonderful. It was a little hectic for me to do the course and pursue my B.Ed degree side-by-side but since the assignments were so interesting, I completed it on time. I will surely do more courses from the Asian College of Teachers for more knowledge and amazing assignments once I get my degree next year. Not to forget my tutor, who cleared all my doubts as and when I mailed. That was really helpful too. I am currently doing practice teaching in schools and this course has really helped me through it.

It was a great experience altogether. I got ample time to complete and learn about the content. The coordinator guided and contacted nicely with mails all the time and also guided about the assignment in elaborate form. All details were written in the assignment. The portal was easy to use. I forgot I was scared earlier to make a video but I did it later and got appreciated by the concerned person.
