Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. it is obvious that I have not reached my top yet and there is a lot of room for further development. I still have to work hard on my pronunciation, on the grammatical issues and on the vocabulary. In addition, I would like to develop my own writing style. However, with the help of practicing and using various learning methods to train difficult rules, as well as working on the language specifics with the help of various exercises has made me more outspoken as a leader.

I have been teaching formally and informally for the last 40 years, and offering professional training professionally for the last 10. In order to expand my horizons, I have been meaning to take up teaching of English as a second/foreign language. This course by ACT was perfect for me. On the one hand, it was thoroughly comprehensive and covered all aspects of TESOL/TEFL. On the other hand, it was fairly intense in the type of assignments it expects its learners to submit. The assistance of the tutors and coordinators was invaluable. The course has indeed lived up to all my expectations.

After a gap of 5 years I had to begin my career again. With a small child to look after, I didn't want to get back to the corporate world. Teaching is always a career that inspired me. I wanted to take up the job of a teacher but unfortunately I was not eligible to take B. Ed course. I was perplexed and then I came across ACT who was offering this course. I was excited and keen to do this course. As expected, it has been a very enriching journey. I learnt a lot of things during the course. I am a more confident and happy teacher now. I thank ACT for their constant support and encouragement.

It taught me to always walk through life as if you have something new to learn and you will. Learning doesn't just have to be the monotonous lecture method but a combination of more. Experience has been fantastic all across. A course which has lived upto the expectations! I would wish ACT to thrive more in future helping thousands to gather knowledge and get their dream jobs in the field of education. The in-class practical activities duly helped to gather the lost or hidden confidence in me, while collaborating with the peers. Assignments have been thoroughly checked and thereafter justified feedbacks have helped me to find the areas of improvement. This will help me in future while doing self-evaluation and improving my methodologies every time. As for doubt clearance, a tutor-on-call should have been there for better understanding during the course and after as and when required.
