My experience of doing this course with ACT has been a very knowledgeable and positive one. The course has provided me with the information and knowledge which help me achieve my goals for building a career in teaching English. Having studied in an English medium school and having worked in the Tax and IT industry for the past 8 years, I have a decent command of the English language. Given this scenario the course has provided the right value add by helping me learn about teaching English professionally and helping me fill the gaps in the essential skill sets required to be successful in this field. The course was well designed and had the key ingredients needed to equip the learner with a holistic set of skills. My experience with the faculty was great. The video resources were very helpful and sample lesson plans and activities provided were very informational. I would like to thank my coordinator for understanding my concerns, providing the required support without which completing the course would have been very difficult.

The course was helpful and engaging right from the first module to the special education.  Teaching Business English is a useful module and teaching young learners is lively when going through.  The lesson plan assignments were refreshing the course, creating a new pace of thinking and exploring.  Learning about teaching young learners and classroom management is an added feather to any teacher.  When it comes to Train the Trainer module, the teacher is completely converted into a Trainer while completing the module and learns new techniques and methods over all the course. Education management is an extended module to the course through which one can learn supervision, decision making and selecting curriculum as a part of administration.  Understanding learning disabilities is the best area for a teacher to focus and implement for a successful career.  A complete personality of a teacher is the product of this course, provided careful understanding and implementation are applied as key aspects.

The whole learning experience was good. It did not feel burdensome or overwhelming since I was moving at my pace. Regular feedback on assignments was helpful. Supportive course coordinator, I was allowed to submit my first assignment. Micro-teaching video was a hassle for me just because I am not a camera person and I had to invest hell lot of time to record and edit it. However, I certainly see the importance of it, which helped me in stepping out of my comfort zone a bit. Overall, everything is as good as it could be.

The Asian College of Teachers provided me with the tools to approach a class in a multidimensional approach, which includes understanding student needs and what motivates them, successfully navigating a class with students at different levels and academic interests, and fostering the development of skills that will help them become independent learners. The modules were well put together and easy to follow. The assignments were very helpful in integrating all the information learned in the modules and I also appreciate the constructive feedback I received on my assignments. Any queries I had were promptly replied to by my coordinator. I would definitely recommend the Asian College of Teachers to anyone who wishes to build on their language teaching skills.

Got to learn and develop a lot. Understood the basic foundations of language teaching. Became aware of the different methodologies and teaching styles. All in all was a holistic learning experience. Online interaction could be improved though.

To be one of the students here at Asian College of Teachers is a privilege for me. My skills and abilities as a teacher continued to be stirred up even more. I felt more passion, love and enthusiasm to teach very young and young learners. I'm satisfied with my grades too. It's challenging to achieve a higher grade yet ACT helped me did it. It was a wonderful experience interacting with the course coordinator Tanu as well as the evaluator Annie. They were both extremely helpful and responded to all my questions almost immediately which made my experience of the course seamless. The course itself was extremely interesting for me, as it made me enhance my existing skill set gathered over 30+ years of being in the industry, and I enjoyed the research work going through the brilliant work done by academicians throughout the world. I would strongly recommend future academicians to pursue the various courses to broaden their horizons and be able to provide students a more holistic learning experience while gaining more clarity on the teaching experience as well.
