After a gap of 5 years I had to begin my career again. With a small child to look after, I didn't want to get back to the corporate world. Teaching is always a career that inspired me. I wanted to take up the job of a teacher but unfortunately I was not eligible to take B. Ed course. I was perplexed and then I came across ACT who was offering this course. I was excited and keen to do this course. As expected, it has been a very enriching journey. I learnt a lot of things during the course. I am a more confident and happy teacher now. I thank ACT for their constant support and encouragement.

It taught me to always walk through life as if you have something new to learn and you will. Learning doesn't just have to be the monotonous lecture method but a combination of more. Every resource available is your source, even the playground or music or rocks and many more. It's about deciding what is the most effective method that you are also comfortable with. .

Experience has been fantastic all across. A course which has lived upto the expectations! I would wish ACT to thrive more in future helping thousands to gather knowledge and get their dream jobs in the field of education. The in-class practical activities duly helped to gather the lost or hidden confidence in me, while collaborating with the peers. Assignments have been thoroughly checked and thereafter justified feedbacks have helped me to find the areas of improvement. This will help me in future while doing self-evaluation and improving my methodologies every time. As for doubt clearance, a tutor-on-call should have been there for better understanding during the course and after as and when required.

I feel confident implementing the methods and approaches in teaching skills that I learnt from the course. During the BETT program, the phase wise content and assignment helped me a lot to cope up easily. The need may vary context to context and their identification and familiarity made me acquainted with the future situation. Designing the learning program, lesson plan made the controlling program more convenient.

The TESOL program is a rich one, as it allowed me to better my teaching skills regarding planning, assessing and understanding the needs of my students. This is my first online course experience, where I have enrolled with the strong feeling of agitation during Covid pandemic time frame. Later, this course helps me to overcome all the obstacles to achieve a goal. I'm really grateful to ACT as it trains my brain to handle a wide range of challenges in the teaching field. It helps me to get new experience and knowledge based perspectives on the world around me.
