TESOL is a very useful certificate for the aspirants who would like to be a trainer for English communication skills. I highly recommend that all Indian English teachers and trainers must complete TESOL to have better teaching skills. This is a wonderful opportunity for me to be a part of ACT. Creativity is a must to be unique, although not all time can you be creative but you can be creative in understanding others. This was the first time a self-study mode of learning and it was not easy to pursue the course with entrance exams. But the organisation was humble enough to extend the deadlines and be kind in their mails. The payment process was very easy and due to clarity of objective the course coordinator and tutor helped me to opt for this course. The course challenged me to be creative and think out of the box for writing assignments since the assignments had portions where activities were to be curated. Moreover, emphasis on plagiarism checks helped me to practice referring and in text citations. The feedback on the assignments encouraged me to tailor my writing skills and helped me understand what is the requirement. The videos were also helpful as they cleared concepts and helped understanding the course material.

I enrolled for the online 280 Hour International Advanced Diploma in TESOL/TEFL with Specializations in Business English Teacher Training & Train the Trainer Program. One can easily take the course online and can decide the pace of their own learning which was very helpful amidst pandemic which is when I enrolled for the course. The course was clear and concise. I do not have prior experience in the field of teaching. The content was presented/explained in a manner that even a newbie could understand and benefit from the course. Taking the course helped me gain clarity and confidence stepping into the world of teaching. The training content was backed up by respective videos from various professionals in the field of teaching. There were videos from the actual classroom setup as well which was very helpful and gave real time insights into the teaching experience. The training content along with the training videos helped in a deep understanding of the subject. The assignments at the end helped in leveraging the knowledge gained. The prompt feedback on the assignments helped in better understating the areas of improvement and correcting the errors. The support for placements is also offered which is very helpful.

I did 2 courses from Asian courses of teachers. And as the quote said," the influence of a good teacher can never be erased". All the teachers here in Asian college are beyond expectations. They did a fantastic job. From telling us how to prepare a lesson plan, how to make a class fun for kids by introducing warmer before starting the class, different teaching approaches. For a good teacher one should incorporate these skills in his/her lesson plan. One more thing that I learnt from this course is how to handle different kinds of kids, how to handle their questions. Thank you Asian college of teachers for providing such a platform.
