Asian College of Teachers (ACT) Founder and Chairman, Dr Sanjib Chakraborty had a very fruitful meeting with the CEO of Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC), Mr Lee Hammond in London on 22nd June, 2023.

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) recently organized a successful campus drive for its ITD batch in Bangalore on 16th June, 2023. The renowned Narayana Group of Schools visited ACT's Bangalore center to recruit teachers for primary and secondary positions. The ITD students who participated in the campus drive expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the event. Most of the students received job offers post interviews, which were conducted on a one-on-one basis.

A grant event took place at Novotel Ibis Bengaluru comprising the spectacular Asian Education Awards and the much-awaited Asian College of Teachers’ Convocation ceremony held on 3rd June 2023. The event championed teaching and education recognizing its greatest contributors alongside the convocation to celebrate the dedication and achievements of ACT students, who have transformed into competent global educators capable of making a positive impact on people's lives. ACT warmly welcomed its alumni and Asian Education Awards finalists to the grand event, creating a memorable day for them to celebrate their accomplishments.

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) conducted a YouTube live session on ‘Artificial Intelligence & its Impact on Education’ on 26th May, 2023.

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) has successfully conducted a customized training session on Performance Management and Team Building Strategies on 8th May, 2023. The session was facilitated by Ms. Asmita Sengupta, an independent corporate trainer specialized in developing a range of behavioural skills in employees, thus making them competent, effective and client-oriented at work. With over 15 years of work experience, she has explored and acquired diverse working knowledge from various sectors while building her career path as a professional trainer-facilitator, designing and facilitating various soft skills learning initiatives across levels/ industries.

The TEFL batch got underway in Bangalore on 8th May, 2023 and just like other batches, it was buzzing with activities and the students were busy planning lessons, writing journals and actively participating in the class activities. But this time there is someone special in the classroom - a student, Padmavati who has inspired the entire batch as one of her legs was amputated but she insists on carrying on with the activities like the rest of the students in her batch. Even the trainer was absolutely amazed at the grit and determination of someone who has travelled 300 km to attend the TEFL batch in Bangalore.
