As i started reading the study material, i was pleasantly surprised to see the similarity about the methods used in my school and the methods mentioned in the course. This made my doing the assessments easier.

Overall found the course convulated in terms of language - too much theory and no practical experience or even interactive dialogue with guide or mentor. Throughout there has been no real guidance given. Also there should be a summary at the end of each chapter with questions and ideal answers so that we are able to figure out the right response. More examples of lesson planning structure would help. How to really choose the level of students is really not clear too. Overall while the content of the course is robust - found it not easy to learn or practice due to the above reasons.

The knowledge gained was immense. Did not expect to enhance my knowledge to such an extent in the short duration. Lots of good tips on class room management for teachers. The process is a bit cumbersome though. Preferable if the entire process is driven via website. Communication via mails doesnt give an indication whats pending and whats stage i am in.

I can suggest to other friends of mine. Its worth to do this course. Initially I was not very confident about completing this course later on I gathered confidence of completing it at least for an average score. I found difficult in doing my assignments because of the topics I have been given.

" Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching"(Buddha) The TEFL/TESOL online course has helped me recall what I had studied and paved way for a deeper understanding of the methods and approaches used in teaching and learning EFL/ESL. The MCQs and the assignments have sharpened the memory and made me use new strategies and methods in the classrooms. Planning a lesson has become easier now with the help of the modules, the assignments and the feedback. The assessment methods were challenging and enriching.

I had a pleasant experience and it was full of learning. ACT has a team of tutors who are patient and available to help the students in times of confusion or even if they have doubts regarding the course content or assignment. The course has ample time within which it can be completed. The content is easy to follow and gives the students a clear idea as to how one should go about teaching.I was initially unaware of how I should go about teaching students but after the course I feel confident enough to deliver lessons in front of students, that too in a way that helps them understand the language better. I would recommend this course from ACT to others who are looking for a similar course. It is well within one's pockets. They also have an additional certificate courses for which one can register.

Different, engaging, a welcome departure from my regular learnings. I realized that teaching is not as simple as it sounded out to be, and that just by having a good knowledge on English does not automatically make you a good teacher.

Enriching and learning experience. Although I used to teach earlier, this course provided more insight with deep practical knowledge and procedures. Tutors and coordinator were always reachable and hence it was a smooth process.

To be a good teacher first we must prepare and organize endlessly hours outside of the classroom preparing and teaching from our heart. In my experience in teaching the most important quality that a teacher should have is patience. A great teacher is very patient with their, students and their parents to deal with the problem. My belief as a role of the teacher we are sowing the seeds not just teaching the students for our cost of living, teachers have a great role in the field of teaching, teachers plant seeds that grow forever and for this reason, we must plant a good seed that will bear a good fruits, good fruits from students is tremendously rewarding from our hard-working.
