Self-based learning was a challenge for The 60 hours YLTT, but with the appropriate content, assignments and more knowledge available, I was able to overcome my challenges. This course has offered me quite a lot of insightful knowledge on how to manage young learners: lesson plans, error corrections, different methods of teaching to implement, and much more. The assignments have been really helpful as well as the comments and feedback from the evaluator has been very effective. I have been trying to implement a lot of my methods and knowledge into my real classroom teaching and I must agree that my students have been enjoying and are responsive lately. They find the different methods very engaging and informative. Thank you ACT for being encouraging and motivating me always.

My experience during the TESOL Program was in overall sufficient. I had different expectations before coming here and not all of them were fulfilled. I can say that from this experience I learned to teach different types of classes and I'm sure this will be useful in the future. I also learned to manage the class and this is a positive aspect of doing TESOL. I can say that there were some positive warmers that taught me how to entertain a class and it was nice trying them before to see how the reaction will be. Also, the practice experience was good. I practised the techniques and methodologies where I am teaching. The student's response was quite good. and I think they enjoyed the lesson as well. It was good to see them reacting while we were teaching. The accessibility to the courses and being able to work at my own pace were exactly how I needed to study. I also liked the videos that accompanied the course content. Seeing instructors teach the material was helpful in further explaining concepts. The feedback on the mid-term and end-term assignments was useful. Having assignments and additional feedback for them after each phase might be more beneficial in gaining experience with methods. This course was perfect for me. I could work at my own pace, and the results were almost instant. I was able to learn what I need to know to better my teaching skills. I would recommend this course to others.

it was a wonderful experience. honestly, the responses to the queries were pretty quick right from the beginning of the course starting from the admission process to the end assignment stage whenever I asked a query or submitted an assignment it was evaluated promptly and the next level was unlocked. this quick response system of your institute is just amazing and very impressive. the content also covered many aspects which I had no idea about before so it was quite informative and the new terminologies that are being used in interviews were all covered in the course. like blooms texanomy ,methods of teaching etc

The knowledge that people have is just a drop in the ocean. There is much to learn. Learning is a never-ending process. This is where I have come across the Asian College of Teaching to enrol myself on TEFL/TESOL course. It is an opportunity for everyone who is aiming for a career in teaching. Enrolling in this course has boosted my teaching skills as I have learnt a lot. Moreover, the material provided (PDFs and Videos) are really helpful for the online students who can not travel to the institute. My mentor (Annie Joseph) has helped me throughout this journey by commenting on the flaws committed by me in the assignments. She helped me with her valuable feedback. Although the course was online, the material and videos are helpful and crack this course. One can practically implement these in their teaching which will give fruitful results.
