ACTs Live Session on Assessment was a Great Learning Experience for the Participants
Asian College of Teachers successfully conducted a live online seminar on ‘Assessment for/as learning: But . . .are they learning?’ which was facilitated by an international educator, Dr Thomas James Miller (Doctorate of Philosophy in Education, Educational Administration, Theory and Policy Studies from the University of Toronto) on 7th November, 2021. Dr Miller is a passionate educator who has achieved exemplary success demonstrated in multicultural contexts gained from having worked on 5 continents.

Asian College of Teachers conferred Iconic Teachers Training Institute Award
Asian College of Teachers (ACT) takes immense pride in announcing that it has been conferred the ‘Iconic Teachers' Training Institute’ award at the World Education Icon Awards 2021 on 10th October, 2021. This was announced at a virtual summit where the theme for the awards was “Education for Sustainable Development: Learning to Become for Future Survival”, wherein ACT was nominated in the ‘Iconic Teachers’ Training Institute’ category and shone out by becoming a winner for its iconic contribution to teacher training.

ACTs Bijoya Sammilani 2021 kept the spirit of togetherness alive amidst dire times
Maintaining its tradition, Asian College of Teachers celebrated Bijoya Sammilani at its Kolkata office on 21st October with an appeal to shine brighter even in the most dire and darker times. Bijoya Sammilani is celebrated to mark the end of Durga Puja festivities and celebrate the spirit of togetherness along with mandatory Bijoya treat. The celebration was held in accordance with the COVID protocols and also in a virtual mode to include those who are working remotely.

ACT Placement Cell successfully places its ITD Graduate in South Korea
Asian College of Teachers’ Placement Department has successfully placed Ms. Swati Gupta, an ITD graduate, as an English Faculty in ICS Global, South Korea, to teach South Korean students.

Physical Classes resume with In-class ITD Program at the ACT Kolkata Centre
The pandemic has been wreaking havoc across the world since last year, and this year India witnessed the devastating second wave of COVID-19. As a gesture to catapult back to normalcy, Asian College of Teachers is glad to share that, it has commenced its in-class programs with International Teaching Diploma at the Kolkata centre from 20th September, 2021 after 5 months. The program kickstarted with 8 candidates maintaining all safety measures, providing hands-on experience to the budding teaching professionals, ensuring 100 % placement assistance and the opportunity to appear for Cambridge TKT exam.
